Description This three piece, quarter inch shank set provides you with a precision facing tool and two down-cut carbide end mills. You get a 1.125″ wide (1/4″ shank) three tooth carbide facing bit, 1/4″ 2 flute carbide down cut end mill, and a 1/8″ (1/4″ shank) carbide down cut end mill. This set is great for surfacing your material flat then machining materials where tear-out is a concern. The down-cut spirals of the included 1/4″ and 1/8″ (1/4″ shank) end mills push the swarf downward into the cut instead of pulling it upward, leaving for a cleaner surface that requires less sanding and reduces the changes for chipped plywood or damaged signs.
